5.3. Advanced Shipping or Taxes

In some cases, a merchant would like to charge advanced and complex shipping rates depending on numerous different factors. In a different, but similar scenario, a merchant may wish to add taxes to an order that differ from country to country, or even from state to state. In these situations, the final price of the transaction is not predictable and can vary in an almost infinite number of ways. Numerous price options is the hallmark of the myPaySystems-Pro system.

To set this up, the merchant would need to collect any geographic information required (such as country, state, etc) to calculate the final price, and implement a script that would do this calculation. The script would then need to create a myPaySystems-Pro order page in Appendix C, with the price set to the total sale price the script had calculated. After reviewing the order, the consumer could submit their order, and the information contained in the form would be sent to the myPaySystems-Pro system.
